At Anglers Guide Service, our Guided Trips are built around one simple goal: giving you the best fishing experience Western Washington has to offer. Because this region holds some of the most productive rivers in the country, we tailor every trip to the species, the season, and your personal expectations. Whether you’re chasing massive Chinook salmon, elusive steelhead, aggressive Coho, or powerful prehistoric sturgeon, we have a guided trip designed to meet your needs.
To begin with, our fleet allows us to fish nearly every type of water effectively. With a 25-foot jet boat, multiple 18-foot drift boats, and a specialized 13-foot raft, we cover everything from large, fast-moving rivers to shallow, technical streams. Therefore, whether you’re a single angler seeking a quiet, personal experience or a corporate group looking to entertain clients, we can accommodate you comfortably and safely.

The rivers of the Olympic Peninsula provide a unique and peaceful fishing environment. These guided trips focus on relaxed floats through scenic waters while learning proven techniques for salmon and steelhead. We fish from heated custom ClackaCraft drift boats as well as specialized rafts that allow access to low water and hard-to-reach sections. As fall rains arrive, Chinook and Coho salmon push aggressively into the rivers. Shortly afterward, hatchery winter steelhead arrive near Thanksgiving, bringing fast runs and acrobatic battles. Then, after Christmas, native steelhead appear and continue building in numbers through late April. Because of their size and strength, these wild fish represent the crown jewel of Olympic Peninsula fishing. Finally, May and June bring challenging yet incredibly rewarding spring Chinook opportunities.

Meanwhile, Southwest Washington rivers require a different approach. Larger systems such as the Columbia, Cowlitz, Lewis, Willamette, and Multnomah Channel demand jet-boat efficiency. For these waters, we run a custom 25-foot Alumaweld Super Vee powered by modern Mercury four-stroke engines. As a result, we can transport groups quickly and safely to prime locations. These rivers offer outstanding spring, summer, and fall Chinook fisheries, along with summer steelhead and world-class sturgeon. Additionally, during warmer months, these larger rivers often fish better while smaller Olympic Peninsula streams run low and clear.
Ultimately, our guided trips combine experience, versatility, and passion. No matter the river or species, Anglers Guide Service delivers a professional, educational, and memorable fishing adventure every time.
